Where is the wedding located?
Both the ceremony and reception will be held at the Historic Dubsdread Ballroom, which is located at 549 West Par Street, Orlando, FL 32804. The ceremony will be held on the back patio, and the reception will be held in the ballroom. Parking is available in a lot in front of the venue.
Do I have a plus one?
The number of seats reserved for your party is specified on the RSVP card included with your invitation.
Can I bring my young children?
We love your kiddos! However, we ask that they stay home from the wedding. If you have an infant less than a year old, please feel free to bring him or her along. Please specify that the baby will be attending when you RSVP, and we will be sure to have an appropriate number of high chairs available.
Please refer to the number of seats reserved for your party on your RSVP card.
Will the ceremony be held outside?
The ceremony will be outside, but the reception will be held inside. There is a backup ceremony plan in case of inclement weather.
What is the dress code?
We ask that you wear semi-formal attire such as sundresses or dressy separates for women and polos and khakis or slacks for men. Please keep in mind that it will likely be very warm outside, so whatever you wear should be comfortable for about 45 minutes outdoors.
How should I get there?
Orlando International Airport (MCO) is the closest airport to our venue, so we recommend that flights be booked to arrive at that airport. We have not booked a hotel block, but instead have provided information about a few hotels in the area. Please select whichever would best meet your needs.
For further questions about accommodation, please feel free to contact connorandkarley2025@gmail.com.
Very conveniently located 3 miles away from the venue. Voted the #1 hotel in Orlando on TripAdvisor. However, this hotel is a popular option with attendees of events at the Kia Center (formerly the Amway Center).
A smaller hotel only 4 miles from the venue, but very close to the dining and shopping of Winter Park's Park Avenue.
Also close to the venue (5 miles away), and more cost effective than those hotels located directly in the downtown.
What is the general timeline?
Guests may arrive as early as 10:00am. There will be an indoor waiting area for you to stay cool before the ceremony, which will start promptly at 10:30am and end at 11:15am. Coffee hour will last until 12:00pm, when brunch will be served. The reception will end at 3:00pm.
How do I contribute to the house fund?
Your presence at our wedding is already a fantastic gift! If you would like to help us afford a home, please see the "Registry" tab, which contains a link to our Zola registry. One of the items on this registry is the house fund, and we greatly appreciate any contributions. Thank you so much!
